SOME time fince* you were pleafed to take notice of fome hints I have given about fmall dofes of mercury; but as I find enough has not yet been faid upon the fubjedt to engage the attention of the faculty, and as the next volume I intend t^ publilh fhortly on medical furgery will not admit what I have to fay about the venereal ulcer, I beg leave to offer to your confideration the outlines of a practice I have purfued many years, in hope of preventing the injury ftill daily done to conftitutkms by large dofes of this mineral!
